I like that you deviated from having a person in this photo. The silhouette is interesting and moves my eye around while the darkened edges keep them from moving off the page. The only issue, and it may not really be one, is that the larger trunk ends at the very corner of the frame. It may be large enough that it isn't enough to drag the eye there but sometimes that can act as an arrow pointing your viewer off the image. What do I know though, I'm just an animator.
